There's no doubt that wedding bouquets are one of the most photographed details from a wedding.  It's important that you choose high quality flowers.  What exactly does that mean?  There have been times when we have zoomed in to take a photograph of a brides bouquet only to see wilting flowers or flowers with brown all around the edges.  That's not what you want for your wedding day.  You want a bouquet that will photograph beautifully.

One of the ways you can make sure of this is by hiring the right florist.  Ask questions such as "How fresh are your flowers"?  "When does my bouquet get made"?  "How are they delivered"? "When are they delivered"?

Let's say that you want to make your own bouquet.  Again quality flowers are a must.  You also need to make sure that if you purchased the flowers the day before in order to make them yourself they need to be kept in the refrigerator in water.

The type of flowers you choose are totally up to you and depend on your style.  

There is also the option to have silk flowers.  Silk flowers have come a long way and if you didn't know it you couldn't tell like the ones in the image below! Your silk flowers can be as full and fancy as you like.  The possibilities are endless.

Whether you choose real flowers, silk or a broch bouquet choose what will be an accent to your wedding dress.  You never want a bouquet that is overpowering you or the dress.  

Tip:  Your wedding bouquet should be no bigger than your head.

When I found this dress I just couldn't help but post it here.  I saw it and fell in love with it.  You have to admit it's totally different.  Totally unique!

No doubt one of the favorite parts of planning your wedding is trying on and purchasing your wedding dress.  The other day I met with a bride who loves watching "Say Yes to The Dress" and here's what she said about her wedding dress experience: " I wondered if I would get that feeling that everybody talks about on the show.  You know what?  I did!!  Inspite of the fact that I had way too many opinions going on.  I just knew it was my dress."  If you watch "Say Yes to the Dress" you know exactly what she is talking about.  Brides come from far and wide to look for their wedding dress at Kleinfeld's in NY.  Just imagine how excited were to find out and now share with you that Kleinfeld's is have a wedding dress blow out sale!

Let's talk videography.  Personally I love the fact that I can look back on my childhood and see video of myself.  My father always had either a camera  or  video camera in his hand.  Sometimes you take for granted having those memories.  Recently I was asked by a brides mother if they really needed videography.  To be honest if I could go back and see my grandparents wedding or even my own I would love to.  I don't have that.  I know what it feels like to regret not having video and I don't want any of our brides to feel that way.  It truly is your wedding day in motion.  I was discussing this with the owner (Deborah McCoy) of American Academy of Wedding Professionals where I received my wedding planning certification.  According to Deborah the number one thing brides regret is not doing wedding videography.  Video is your gateway back in time.  In your video you'll be able to hear highlights from you wedding that bring back a flood of emotions.  Below is a video sampling of some of our weddings.
