Eons ago there was a popular song titled "Getting to Know You" the song went on to say "getting to know all about you"...  I thought of this song when I recently read that 50% of all marriages end in divorce.  Could it be that many couples don't really get to know each other.  There likes and dislikes.  Perhaps in the beginning people don't want to see the flaws or think they exist.  Well in my search to bring you information I found some relationship questions you might find helpful.  Asking these questions will help you both get to know each other better and prepare you for the road your relationship will travel on. I found most of these questions on lovetoknow but added a few I think are really just as important.  

1)  If you had one day left to live what would you do?
2)  Where would you most like to go on vacation?  This is really important.  I had a cousin who married a nice guy who loved camping.  My cousin was not into camping at all.  10 years later they divorced.  Not just because of that but perhaps knowing this could have  really helped them see if they were truly compatible.
3)  What would you do if you won $10,000?
4)  What is your most embarrassing moment?
5)  Who is your favorite movie star of the opposite sex?
6)  What do you like best about me?
7)  What one thing would you like to change about me?  Be prepared to listen to this and don't get offended.  If you ask this then your must really want to know.
8)  What is your favorite car?
9)  What is something you did as a child that your parents don't know about?  I always thought my mother didn't know we hid our vegetables in napkins and threw them away.  She knew all along!
10)  What is your favorite color?
11)  What is your favorite season?
12)  What is your favorite restaurant?
13)  What is your favorite meal?
14)  Role Questions.  For instance what if you the women made more money.  How would he feel?  
15)  What is the craziest dream you ever had?
16)  If you could live anywhere where would it be?
17)  What would be your dream job?

I think having questions like this in mind will truly help you build a relationship.  I think it's also important as your relationship progresses to find out how they feel about child rearing.  What are their thoughts.  Would you like to be a stay at home mom?  Continue working?  Would he ever consider staying home with the kids.  Hope this helps get your conversations going!
